Sur Kshetra Latest Launch Promo by Atif Aslam
The three-month long song-based reality show, which will have two teams represented by singers Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam will be shot in Dubai.
To be aired on Sahara One, the show is being interpreted as the much-awaited opportunities for singers from both the nations. In an interview to a website, Atif said that the concept will be a hit with the masses who long to see talents from both the nations.

The sensational new reality show SUR-KSHETRA from the Sahara One stable will provide true blue singing talents from India and Pakistan with an opportunity to display their vocal talent and outperform their rivals. SUR-KSHETRA kick-starts from India with 6 city auditions and from Pakistan with 3 city auditions from December 24, 2011.

Willing participants have to send an SMS to 59090 typing AUDITION for Sur Kshetra registrations.
Sur Kshetra auditions have been held in 6 cities of India. Selected contestants from the auditions will be assembled at ground zero. They will further undergo through various rigorous selection process to become the contestants of live concert.
Sur Kshetra registration is open for the participants of all age group. Participants need to carry a valid proof of identity, age and nationality during the Sur Kshetra auditions.
Sur Kshetra will be led by Himesh Reshamiya and Atif Aslam. Contestants of India will be led by Himesh Reshamiya. Contestants of Pakistan will be monitored by Atif Aslam.
Himesh Reshammiya, Atif Aslam set for battle on show Sur-Kshetra
One Television is all set to bring alive the rivalry between the two neighbouring nations like India and Pakistan through a singing reality show. Its new show Sur-Kshetra will provide true blue singing talents from both countries with an opportunity to display their vocal talent and outperform their rivals.
Sur-Kshetra will kick-start from India with 6 city auditions and from Pakistan with 3 city auditions from December 24, 2011. The selected singing warriors from the auditioning cities of both nations will assemble at ground zero. They will further undergo grilling through various levels of rigorous selection processes and a select team of smashing musical warriors from both nations will be carved out.
Noted singer-music director Himesh Reshammiya will captain the Indian team of singers, while his counterpart singer Atif Aslam from Pakistan will lead the team from across the border. Sur-Kshetra will be produced and directed by Gajendra Singh of Saaibaba Telefilms, who has done super-hit reality shows like Sa Re Ga Ma, Voice Of India, Music Ka Maha Muqaabala and Chote Ustaad.
