, Nissan has unveiled its Sunny mid-size sedan, which is set to begin selling in the country in October. The car will be the automaker’s second model to be produced at its Chennai factory, and is part of a five model range that the company plans to assemble locally, reports state.

The introduction of the Sunny seeks to address the growing demand for mid-sized sedans in the country, brought about by a rising disposable income in the 350-million strong middle class population as well as growth in the economy.
